AMSA Year Long Fishing Tournament

AMSA Anglers Classic
All AMSA members can participate in a year long fishing contest.

Contest Dates: Year Around: (Beginning November 1, Ending October 31)
Trophies will be awarded for the largest fish caught in each species.

CATCH & RELEASE PROGRAM:

A POLAROID or DIGITAL picture of the fish with a tape measure marking the length must be taken.

The time, date, and signatures of two members in good standing as witnesses, must be written on the picture of the fish caught.

You can also approach any board member for verification.

Eligible Species:

• Channel Bass (Red)

• Black Drum

• Kingfish (Whiting)

• Bluefish

• Speckled Trout

• Grey Trout

• Flounder

• Croaker

• Rockfish

• Striped Bass (Rockfish)

All Fish Must Meet MD STATE MINIMUM STANDARDS To Qualify!

The contest is for members in good standing.
All fish must be caught in the surf on Assateague Island, Maryland or Virginia.

Official Weigh Stations and Entry Blanks at:

• Buck’s Place, Assateague Rd. & Stephen Decatur Hwy., Berlin, Maryland

• Harbor Tackle, corner of Sunset Ave and Golf Course Road West OC, Maryland
