Spring Beach Clean-up is Saturday March 27, 2010. We will meet at the southern right side parking lot at 9am. Hot dogs and sodas will be provided after the clean-up. We would really like to see everyone participate. If you have children who belong to a Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop, please invite them to attend. This will count toward community service hours. Last year 115 people volunteered their time to help clean up the beach. We would love to see more people out this year. We need all the trucks, with the appropriate permits, to help transport the student volunteers we hope to have attend. Please call Skeets Zinkhan if you have any questions 410-641-2244.

Assateague Mobile Sportsfishermen Association are the true “Keepers of the Beach”. AMSA fights for vehicle access to the beach on Assateague Island and monitors other groups that seek to restrict or close access to the OSV zone. More membership helps the cause when it comes to fighting these important issues that face the OSV zone. Many voices are needed to keep privileges we have enjoyed for decades. Make sure these privileges are there for future generations.
AMSA works alongside the National Park Service on conservation and preservation efforts such as beach clean-up, roadside clean ups, park maintenance efforts and is the sole sponsor for an aquarium exhibit for the new Visitor Center (currently under construction).
With your membership you will receive the following:
